Visitors of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh former minister Talal el Merhbi where they discussed the general situation, he then received the commander of the central US Command General Michael Garrett who was heading an accompanying delegation with the presence of Ambassador Elizabeth Richard and defense attaché Colonel Daniel Mouton where they discussed fields of bilateral military cooperation, particularly in training Lebanese land units and providing them with weapons. Moreover, General Aoun received a military Italian delegation headed by General Nicola Zanelli where they discussed the relations of cooperation between both armies.

The Armed Forces Commander also received a delegation from the “Tajaddod” movement for the Catholic Melkite headed by Mr. Charles Arbid where they discussed different affairs.
