The Visitors of the Chief of Staff Major General

The Chief of Staff, Major General Hassan Audi, received in his office in Yarzeh, the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, in the presence of the German Military Attaché, CDR sg Kai Zimmermann. They discussed regional developments, and a German grant agreement was signed for the LAF to enhance its capabilities during the current exceptional phase. He also received the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, in the presence of the Head of Mission and Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Lieutenant General Aroldo Lázaro Sáenz. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
