Visitors of General Aoun

LAF Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh, a delegation from the French Senate headed by Mrs. Christine LAVARDE   accompanied by the French Ambassador to Lebanon Mrs. Anne GRILLO and the French Military Attaché Colonel Fabrice CHAPELLE.
General Aoun also received the new British Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Ian COLLARD, accompanied by the military attaché Lt. Col. Lee Richard SAUNDERS.
Discussion covered ways to enhance the relations of cooperation between the Lebanese Army and the armies of the two countries.
He also received the Dutch military attaché, Lt. Col. Johan Carel GERRITSEN, on a farewell visit, during which he introduced his successor, Lt. Col. Rob KEIJZER. Afterwards came the Ambassador of Lebanon to Canada, Mr. Fadi Ziadeh, and they discussed the general situation in the country.
