Visitors of General Aoun

LAF Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh , the Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon, Mrs. Ann Dismorr, with whom he discussed cooperation and relations between the armies of the two countries.
General Aoun also received former MP Emile Rahme, who offered congratulations on the Army's Day.

He also separately met with a delegation of Tripoli activists and scholars, who came to offer him well-wishes marking Army Day.

The delegation praised the efforts of the military institution and the sacrifices of its members to preserve the security of Tripoli city.

General Aoun then welcomed renowned Lebanese singer, Mrs. Majida El-Roumi, who handed him a cedar wrapped in the Lebanese flag in the name of the civilian and military martyrs of August 4 explosion, and she stressed
that the army is the only hope for preserving Lebanon's sovereignty, dignity, and identity.

Mrs. El-Roumi also said, “Had it not been for the army institution, Lebanon would not have survived,” calling on all the sons of the country - residents and expatriates - to support the army and stand by its side
