Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Brazilian military attaché in Lebanon Colonel EMERSON AFONSO AVZEVEDO COSTA on an acquaintance upon assuming his mission. He also received a delegation from the US CONGRESS that included deputies: MARK TAKANO, COLIN ALLRED and KATIE PORTER, accompanied by the US ambassador to Lebanon, MRS. DOROTHY SHEA. They discussed the cooperation relations between both armies. The members of the delegation praised the cohesion of the Lebanese army, its operational readiness and ability to carry out its duties despite the difficult circumstances.
