Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh the ambassadors: Kristoffer Vivike from Denmark, Martin Yttervik from Norway, and Anne Dismorr from Sweden. They discussed the general situation and developments at the southern borders. Later, General Aoun also received the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), General Aroldo Lázaro, and they discussed cooperation and coordination between the army and UNIFIL in light of the current situation in the South. Additionally, he received the Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Office in Lebanon, Ms. Melanie Hauenstein, and they discussed the general situation in the country.
