Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarze the Senior Advisor to the British Ministry of Defense for Middle East Affairs, Admiral Edward Ahlgren, in the presence of the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell. He also received the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa El-Din Abdel Moneim Mohammed Mousa. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the developments on the southern border.

He also received the Mayor of Tripoli, Riad Yamak, heading a municipal council delegation. The delegation members praised the role of the military institution, commending its efforts in maintaining security and stability in Tripoli.

He then received the President of the Lebanese Athletics Federation, Roland Saadeh, heading a delegation.
