Visitors of General Aoun

LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the French Minister of the Armed Forces Ms. Florence Parly, the Ambassador of France to Lebanon Mr. Bruno Foucher and the French Defense Attaché Colonel Fabrice Chapelle. General Aoun also met during the day with a delegation from the Russian Federation headed by General Alexander Chuprian, Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters who was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Lebanon Mr. Alexander Zasypkin and the Russian Defense Attaché Colonel Alexander Milovidov. Discussions during both visits touched on the aid offered by the states of Russia and France to overcome the repercussions of the catastrophic explosion that hit the Port of Beirut.
General Aoun also received during the day the United Nations Special Coordinator to Lebanon Mr. Ján Kubiš and their talks addressed the general situation in Lebanon.
