Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief
The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh Barbara Woodward, the United Kingdom's Deputy National Security Adviser (International Affairs), accompanied by a delegation and British Ambassador to Lebanon Hamish Cowell. The discussions focused on the role of the Lebanese Army, the implementation steps associated with the framework agreement, and ways to support the Army in light of the challenges the country is facing during the current critical phase.
He also received Pakistan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, who expressed his country's appreciation for the Lebanese Army's efforts to maintain security and stability. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of General Haykal's recent visit to Pakistan and the mechanism for implementing its outcomes.
