Donation Ceremony from Canadian Authorities to the Lebanese Armed Forces

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A ceremony was held at the Logistics Brigade - Kfarshima, to hand over equipment provided as a donation from the Canadian authorities to the LAF, in the presence of the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon, Stefanie McCollum, the Commander of the Logistics Brigade, representing the LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun, and a number of officers.
Ambassador McCollum affirmed Canada's continued cooperation with the army and providing it with various forms of support, given its essential role in maintaining security and stability in Lebanon. The Commander of the Logistics Brigade, Brigadier General PSC Johnny Akl, also thanked the Canadian authorities for the donation, considering that it had a significant impact in improving performance and maintaining full readiness within the framework of carrying out operational and security missions.
