Follow-up on the arrest of individuals involved in an armed incident in Tripoli

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Further to the statement issued on 12/6/2025 regarding the arrest of individuals following an armed incident in Tripoli, and within the framework of security pursuit and follow-up on the detention of those involved, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of several suspects in Al Hara Al Baraniyah -Tripoli. The citizens (R.H.), (M.H.), (W.H.), and (M.S.H.) were arrested, and weapons and ammunition were seized.
Simultaneously, the LAF is clearing apartments and commercial establishments that the suspects had unlawfully occupied and from which they were extorting the owners.
The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
